Our Safety Policy


Safety always comes first at RB Oilfield. We are committed to a strict and highly responsible safety policy designed to protect the environment, lands, community, public, and workers from injuries and accidents. Our priority considerations in all aspects of the RB Oilfield workplace, both mobile and fixed, are safety responsibilities and compliance with our industry-wide guiding principles for worker safety. Management is responsible for ensuring adherence to the company, customer, government regulations, and safety regulations and procedures by providing appropriate equipment and thorough employee training.

 

In building strong safety work practices to protect all people in our workplace, supervisors, management, and workers are responsible for its safety initiatives. Following proper procedure and observing all related regulations is the responsibility of every position level of the workplace, along with visitors or anyone on the premises. To achieve the goal of an accident-free operation and without injury, each employee's additional duty is to provide support and assistance to the safety program.

Our Environmental Policy


Our Aboriginal family at RB Oilfield understands the importance of preserving the environment and is committed to protecting the environment at the highest level. To ensure our operations are carried out to minimize any negative impact on the environment, great emphasis is placed on all routine and procedural activities.  Environmental policy compliance is a prerequisite for jobs at RB Oilfield.

To ensure the safety of the environment, we will:  

 

  • Comply with all environmental standards and legislative mandates
  • Address all of our company's environmental hazards. Chemical compounds are stored in appropriate containers to mitigate the risk of a spill. At no time will substances be stored in a manner that will expose them to stormwater.
  • Should an environmental spill occur, proper environmental authorities (local, industry, and government) will be immediately alerted. This procedure will depend on the type and quantity of the spilled material.
  • All spills will be reported to management by staff and supervisors.
  • All workers will be trained and instructed on appropriate response procedures for spilling materials, using spill kits, materials available for use, proper handling of waste, and communication practices.
  • Spill kits will contain proper supplies for spilled materials. All trucks and work supervisors will carry these kits for easy access when its use is required. 
  • Spill response supplies are routinely inspected to determine their availability and replace or adjust inventory as needed. 
  • Ensure that the usage of energy and natural resources is responsible and efficient.
  • Minimize the environmental effects of our actions
  • Be responsive to public views and issues.
  • Be diligent in seeking new ways to control waste efficiently and manage harmful products effectively.
